OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded for resurfacing in LeFlore County, Senator Mark Allen and Representative James Lockhart recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project will involve resurfacing eight miles of county road NS-475 on old SH-112, from NS-472 and EW-134.5 extending east, then north on NS-475 near Poteau.
Allen (R-Spiro) said the State Transportation Commission awarded the nearly $1.5 million contract to the Job Construction, Co., Inc. The Poteau company was the lower of two bidders for the job, said Lockhart (D-Heavener).
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within three months.
