OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded for asphalt shoulder rehabilitation work in Sequoyah County, Sen. Mark Allen and Rep. Ed Cannaday recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project will involve asphalt shoulder rehabilitation on US-64/SH-10 from the SH-100 junction, extending east near Gore.
Allen, R-Spiro, said the State Transportation Commission awarded the nearly $500,000 contract to Glover & Associates, Inc. The Muskogee company was the lowest of three bidders for the job, said Cannaday, D-Porum.
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within two months.
