OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded for grade, drain, resurfacing, and bridge work in Sequoyah County, Sen. Mark Allen and Rep. John Bennett recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project will involve grade, drain, resurfacing, and bridge work on County Road NS-462, over Bushy Creek, about seven miles north of SH-64 near Sallisaw.
Allen (R-Spiro) said the State Transportation Commission awarded the nearly $2.5 million contract to Glover & Associates, Inc. The Muskogee company was the lowest of two bidders for the job, said Bennett (R-Sallisaw).
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within four months.
