Two local students shined at the State Capitol with their dedication and hard work, serving as Senate pages for my office this past week. Seniors Kaylee Cox and Tabri Fouts, seniors at Spiro High School, were selected to serve as Senate pages during the week of April 22-25, 2013.
The Senate Page Program allows young Oklahomans to see legislators at work and gives them insight into how government operates and how laws are passed. It was an honor to work with Kaylee and Tabri. It’s clear that they are both exceptional young people and I was proud to have them as pages.
Kaylee is the daughter of Mark and Amy Cox and Tabri is the daughter of Bryan and Kim Fouts. All are residents of Spiro.
Kaylee and Tabri conducted themselves in a manner to prove the worthiness of their selection. They served with distinction, bringing honor not only upon the State Senate, but also their families, school and hometown.
Until next time,
Senator Mark Allen
